Odambea

Odambea is celebrated by the Nkusuksum chiefs and the people of the traditional Saltpond area. It commemorates the migration of the Nkusum people centuries ago from Techiman, in the Brong-Ahafo region, over 400km from Accra.
The Nkusum are now settled in Odambea, meaning "fortified link". A highlight of this event is the re-enactment of the ancient lifestyles of the Nkusum people.
