After you have registered, you will get a short trial period (check in 'my subscription'), after which you can decide to become a member. This site works with paid membership - though below you'll also find information about how to get a free membership.
Why pay?
Of course we have to pay our investment and running costs for this site. At the same time, we want to put up a barrier for 'dormant users' - people who registered, but actually never use it. We want to avoid to have, for example, members registered who have left Ghana for a long time (unless they still choose to be a member) or companies that have listed outdated information or worse, ceased to exist completely. We also want to enable companies with a smaller budget, companies that we think are interesting for you, to advertise on this site, without being completely 'pushed out' by large scale companies like mobile network providers. We have therefore choosen to ask for a moderate membership fee for all users. If we come across a company or organisation that is offering very nice products or services but has a too little budget, we consider a reduced membership fee.

Banners:
Depending on size and pages to display the banner on. From less than $ 6 a month! Please contact us through the contact form on page 'contact & suggestions'.
Group membership:
We have special rates for large groups of people or companies. Please contact us for more information through the contact form on the page 'contact & suggestions'.
PayPal / Creditcards:
For consumers, PayPal is a free service that allows you to pay from your credit card or bank account, without exposing your financial data to the merchant or anyone else on the Internet. You can register for a PayPal account at www.paypal.com in just a few minutes. The authorization process through your bank can take a few days though.

In case you can’t or do not want to pay for the membership online, please contact us through the contact form on page 'contact & suggestions' for other ways of payment.
Free membership and free advertising:
At this moment we give free memberships to people who are serious and active on our site.
Apart from that, it’s as simple as it sounds: if you introduce two new members to our site, free subscription is granted once both memberships are paid. Your free subscription will be valid for half of the total time of the membership of the two members.
Example: you introduce one company that registers for three months, and another that registers for a year. Together 15 months, so once the two new members have paid their subscription, you will get a free membership for a period of 7.5 months. Two members registering for one year will consequently give you one year of free membership.
It is essential you contact us to inform us about the companies you have introduced, and those companies should mention you when they are filling their company profile ('how did you hear about our website?') or mention you in their correspondence with us.
The above applies to membership for companies, private membership as well as for advertisements. Please note that the general ‘terms of use & disclaimer’ apply here as well: if (one of) the two members you introduce, or your own company, does not meet our requirements for companies to be listed, the membership can be refused or terminated.
Questionnaire and/or verification of companies:
We want to make sure our visitors can depend on the companies listed with us. Our business directory therefore only lists reputable and trustworthy companies.
Before listing your company on FindinGhana, we might verify information and check references. We might also like to get acquainted through a questionnaire or visit.
